“Who Can Find a Virtuous Woman?” Blog Proverbs 31:10.
Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:10
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”
Proverbs 11:16
“A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.”
A good woman is someone who gets along with people around her. Others love her because of her positive and approachable personality. She knows she’s not the center of the universe, so she doesn’t need to be pampered or looked after like a spoiled girl. She also knows that you’re not responsible for making her happy. Rather, you make her happy because it’s the perk of being in a relationship where she calls you friend.
This world can be cruel sometimes, but a good woman recognizes that emotions can be like a roller coaster ride, so there will be bad days and good days. As many things happen in life’s daily grind, she won’t blame you when bad things happen in your relationship. She understands your faults and corrects hers when it causes others pain. As a woman who cherishes her friends, she will support you in good times and bad times.
Like a person who protects their jewels, such as rubies, so a good woman will protect her friends and family. Rubies are precious, and that is what she is, although, she will tell you that YOU are the one who is precious! Rubies are rare and valuable. So is the woman who is good in her spirit and behavior!
This good woman is someone that you want to keep in your life to hold them close and Love them through thick and thin. To value them more than you would your very own Rubies! God will use you to Bless her for her trustworthiness! Just as she herself, will Bless you, as her cherished friend!
Remember, you are a Mighty Woman! The Proverbs 31 Woman!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:11 (AMPC)
“The heart of her Husband trusts in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of [honest] gain or need of [dishonest] spoil.”
Proverbs 12:4
“An excellent Wife is the crown of her Husband, but she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.”
An Excellent Wife is one whose heart thinks of her Husband and Family first, before material things. He trusts her because he knows that he can have a reliance on his Wife to support and to be there for him. Even more importantly he knows that her heart belongs to the LORD - so that he can absolutely trust her to do good and to seek the very best for all who live in her household. She is an anchor of safety and security for those who may be concerned about the situations that are happening in the world around them.
The man who has such a Godly woman who seeks the best for her Husband and Family will also be Blessed with the prosperity of having no lack of gain from her efforts for them. They can absolutely put their trust in this committed caretaker! She is a Lady who has the very best interests at heart for her Family - God's interests is what is being inferred by the above Scripture in Proverbs 31:11. For the gain here is not just riches - although this particular Lady is quite the businesswoman for her Family, but it is gain which involves a good heart, a willing service, and a sweet spirit that is in the home because of her Ministry as a Wife and Mother. Do not discount this characteristic of bringing gain to a Family.
There are Blessings and benefits that the spirit of a peaceful home gives to a Husband and Children that cannot be matched by any amount of money. Trust is a calming influence that brings peace within the home. In a day when so many do not have peace - and too many children go to homes where there is far more turmoil than rest - we do not see, like we used to, the value of a woman who focuses the major part of her life on her Husband and Family. Feminist groups denigrate such women, yet to those men who have such a Godly Wife in their midst - they are worth gold, jewels, and riches to them!
So, Ladies, be a champion of good to those who put their trust in you to be the custodian of the home. Remember, you are a Mighty Woman! The Proverbs 31 Woman!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:12
“She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.”
Proverbs 16:20
“He (she) that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he (she).”
I want you to really look at the verse above. This is such a powerful and important verse. As a Wife, this pertains strictly to you! The word Good here means considering your Husbands happiness and well-being in everything you do. This Noble Woman builds her Husband up instead of tearing him down. She speaks kindly and doesn't continually nag and complain. Some synonyms for Good are excellent, favorable, marvelous, positive, superb, valuable, and wonderful. Some antonyms for Good (bad = what a Godly Wife doesn’t want to be known for) are disagreeable, unacceptable, unhelpful, worthless, mean, noxious, rotten, unreliable, vicious, vile, and unvirtuous. Do you do your Husband Good or evil?
Good – this is something that she does and what she is! Good is defined as “having admirable, pleasing, superior, or positive qualities; kindly, generous, or approving”. She speaks respectfully to him, instead of being disrespectful towards him through her actions and words. She is joyful, instead of complaining. She takes Good care of her children, and does not neglect them.
A Godly Wife loves and sacrifices for her Husband, instead of being selfish and only caring for herself. When your Husband goes out into the world and works hard, he is often bombarded by negativity. He may work with people who are not Christians. He may hear foul language on a regular basis. He might even be faced with temptations throughout the day that you are completely unaware of. As his Wife, you must make sure that when he comes home, you have created an atmosphere of Love and Peace in the home in which he may feel welcomed and relieved. He NEEDS to know that you will do him GOOD when he comes home. And if YOU work outside the home, do not bring the hardship of the job home to make him feel low. You can share your troubles with him and ask him to Pray with you to help you to know how to deal with situations at work instead of bringing them home as a burden to your Family.
Our youngest Daughter received the revelation for this verse when she was just a teenager. She told us that the Scripture says, “She will do Her Husband Good ALL the Days of HER Life!” She said that God spoke to her and said that even though she did not know her future Husband, she must live her life now to do him Good when she meets him. So, she said that her reputation must not bring him hurt or grief. That was very profound for a teenaged Girl!
Young Ladies, if you have not even dated yet, let this be a challenge to you. I know that our Granddaughter Azzi is another young Lady who has made it a priority to keep herself pure before God for her future Husband. Her Papa and I are so proud of her, as well as her Parents, LaTisha & Rey, also her Brothers.

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:13
“She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.”
Titus 2:4-5 (AMP)
“So that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their Husbands and their Children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home[where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own Husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.”
A Virtuous Woman is not above dirtying her hands and working hard at manual labor. She has no illusions or pretensions about her role. She knows that productivity and wealth begin with her hands, not with her mouth. Though capable of using her brain to leverage her assets and labor, she has no qualms about adding her sweat equity to the family estate. She shops around for the best yarns and cottons, and enjoys knitting and sewing to keep her Family well dressed. But for those of us who do not sew or knit, we use our hands to search through aisles of clothing racks to find appropriate garments for them. Hahaha!
She hunts for bargains to make useful and valuable things for her home and Family. She is a willing worker – cheerful and content – she has initiative to work hard on her own. She does not need prodding. She sees a need, and she rolls up her sleeves and attacks the project. She does not hope her Husband will do it for her after he gets home from work; she finishes it to spend the evening with him.
Every Christian woman must make sure she is more virtuous than Victorian. Being a “keeper at home” has nothing to do with taking it easy and making the Husband the only or primary worker. She may not have to work outside the home, but she must make her home a place of safety and relaxation. If she does work outside the home, it is still possible to make her home a place that her Family enjoys coming home to.

THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN WILL DO ANYTHING TO SERVE HER FAMILY GOOD MEALS WITH LOVE! ”
Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:14 (NKJV)
“She is like the merchant ships; she brings her food from afar.”
Proverbs 15:17 (NKJV)
“Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a fatted calf with hatred.”
A great wife is creative and diligent. She will not settle for just convenience, economy, or habit. She seeks better dishes to serve her Family and better ways to fulfill other domestic roles. She gladly puts forth the effort to obtain excellent and unique things for her Husband and Children. She is not discouraged that creativity requires extra work and time.
Addicted to convenience and ease, the world has spawned a generation of lazy women, who have lost the ability and drive to be creative and diligent domestically. They are often more concerned about how easy of a supper they can throw together than plan an imaginative and pleasant surprise for the Family. This is a loss! But thankfully not gone. Our Daughter LaTisha is very creative and makes very delicious and satisfying meals, then when she gets home, she makes sure that the home is clean and respectable. AND she works outside the home. She IS the Proverbs 31 Woman!
Excellence marks the Virtuous Woman. She does not look for shortcuts, although if she does, it does not change the excellence of her service, because she always looks for the best. Convenience is not her top priority, but if it’s convenient, then she will make sure that it is a great meal. Superb nutritious eating and great pleasure and comfort for her Family are far more important than convenience. She does not care what other women are doing; she wants to reward and honor her Husband and Children with a special kind of Loving service.
She knows well that a new meal with an innovative dish or two is a special event for everyone. Enjoyed in the quiet, warmth, and security of a peaceful and loving home, it provides double pleasure for those at the table. Soul and body are nourished and renewed there, and she rises to new levels in the esteem of her Family.
So, get those creative juices flowing, Ladies and make a special surprise dish for your Family and they will appreciate you just a little bit more!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:15 (NKJV)
“She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household…”
Titus 2:5
“To be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own Husbands,
that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.”
The dedicated Woman of God will do for her Family, so that they will not feel neglected. She’s up before dawn, preparing breakfast for her Family and organizing her day. She makes sure that they have a clean house and healthy meals and that they are presentable when they go out in public. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed whether you have your dream home or not. Homemaking is about more than just housekeeping and drudgery. Homemaking is about creating a space that feels like home – a place where perfection isn’t necessary and where the people there could learn, grow, Love and genuinely be Loved in return and where they can feel safe.
Home is where Family and Friends should feel acceptance and offer each other grace. It’s a place where real life is lived, and sometimes real life is messy and raw and not always pretty. But home offers a place for those raw feelings to be expressed and where they may find solace and comfort to be healed.
The Virtuous Woman will make it a priority to have the meals planned ahead of time. Whether she prepares it the night before or rises early in the morning to get the task done. Children shouldn’t have to go to school, either in a classroom or in the home, without having a good meal to get their brains functioning properly to learn.
Both my Mother and my Mother-in-law were Women who rose before sunrise to be ready for the day. They worked tirelessly, but were plenty tired by the end of day. Yet, they worked without complaint to make the house a home and did it with Love! I so appreciate both of the Women that God gave to me to have for an example for me to be a Mother of my own.
Ladies always let your home be a welcoming place of comfort and Love with good meals. Let Christ be the center of the home and others will feel the peace residing there.

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:16
“She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.”
Proverbs 23:23
“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.”
A Virtuous Woman considers how she spends her hard-earned money. Many women often buy things on impulse. They see something they like and buy it without pondering if she even needs it or if she can afford it. There are advertisements on the television, on Facebook and all over the media outlets trying to get us to buy another dress, shoes, handbags, or some kind of product even though we have plenty of everything! Next time you want to buy something, carefully consider if you really need it and don’t act rash about it. Yes, use wisdom and even prayer in your purchases. Most of us don’t need any more stuff anyway!
She “considers” something, whatever it is, before buying it. “Can I afford it?” “Is it a good use of our money?” “Will it be profitable for us?” She weighs her options and then decides whether or not to purchase it. I am sure that the Proverbs 31 Woman bought her land with her Husband’s hearty approval since she lives in submission to him.
The greatest thing to purchase is truth! So, the greatest treasures we own are the Scriptures. They are far more valuable than the things of this world. The greatest seeds you can plant, Ladies, are not the stuff of this world but the seeds of truth into your Family’s (Husband and Children) hearts and minds so that they may grow into trees of righteousness with deep roots in Jesus.
Ladies, to gain wisdom, the first purchase you must make is to buy truth!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:17 (NKJV)“She girds herself with strength, and strengthens her arms.”
1 Corinthians 16:13 (AMP)“Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men (and women) and be courageous; be strong.”
The Virtuous Woman sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She applies strength to her mind as well as her arms; she uses great diligence in the missions she engages in. Strengthening her arms; she puts forth her utmost strength in her work, whether on a job outside the home or as a Housewife and Mother. Her heart is full of another world, even when her hands and arms are busy about this world. But above all, she fears the LORD.
She starts her day in God's Word and Prayer, it keeps her focused on Him throughout her day. It is the greatest way to “gird her loins” and prepare herself for the day ahead. Showing her readiness to do every good work; with a cheerfulness, a good spirit, and determined resolution, she sets about doing her duties; the report about her is that she performs her mission with an ease that left everyone in her presence comfortable to be around her. With strength that she gains from God to have strengthened arms, she is a willing worker to, not only do her own work, but is willing to help those who may seek her out to help them.
The original Hebrew words and meanings for strength and strong are:
Strength: ‘owz (oze) – force, security, majesty, praise: boldness, loud, power.
Strong: ‘amats (aw-mats’) – to be alert, steadfastly minded, prevail.
So, this is saying that she prepares herself with loud, powerful, and bold Praise. She is strong and knows who she is. She is a Daughter of the King and she knows it! For her strength comes from her Abba Daddy God!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:18 (AMP)
“She sees that her gain is good; her lamp does not go out, but it burns continually through the night [she is prepared for whatever lies ahead].”
Proverbs 10:4 (AMP)
“Poor is he who works with a negligent and idle hand, but the hand of the diligent makes him rich.”
A Virtuous Woman is bold, while humble and modest as a Christian woman. The central concern of the Proverbs 31 Woman is the call to live life in awe of God. This Proverbs verse shows a Virtuous Woman’s confidence and drive. She sees that her gain from work [with and for God and Family] is good; her lamp does not go out, but it burns on continually throughout the night [of trouble, adversity, or sorrow, warning away fear, doubt, and distrust]. The night here means times of darkness and turmoil in the Marriage or Family.
The enemy will come in the “night” and sow tares (weeds) of mistrust, but the Virtuous Woman’s candle must be burning brightly and stedfastly for her to know when weeds of any kind have been sown into her Marriage and Family so that she knows how to deal with them. Sloth makes a person poor, poor in relationships as well as in financial areas; but diligence brings wealth in the same. It is true that a slack hand causes poverty, as it is true that the hand of the diligent enriches. Poverty comes from a heart that is not sold out completely to Christ.
This is why, as a Virtuous Woman, you must know how to keep your home. Keeping your home is not merely sweeping, cleaning, or ensuring that the house chores are done. It is knowing how to control the Spiritual atmosphere in your household. Never allowing the devil to mess with it; for it is knowing how to fold those same working hands in Prayer and gaining wisdom to know how to deal with issues in the Spirit before their consequences are fully manifested in her Marriage or Family.

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:19
“She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.”
Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NKJV)
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.”
A Virtuous Woman keeps her hands busy, for her hands are important and valuable. They are for more than carrying a diamond ring. They are for more than regular manicures. Her hands are for more than holding while walking in the park. They are for manual labor, and a Virtuous Woman is willing to use them diligently and skillfully. She is not afraid to dirty her hands to get a job done, and she is not afraid to acquire skills with her hands to serve her Family and build the estate.
Hands are important. A Woman’s “elbow grease,” by using her hands diligently, can build the Family estate with “sweat equity.” Anything a Woman finds to do with her hands, she should do it with her might (Eccl 9:10). Whether it is using her hands to create wonderful fashions for her Family or create fabulous meals or baked goods that keeps her Family happy with her creativity.
A Virtuous Woman is a woman of resolution, who, having promoted good values, is firm and steady to them, and will not be frightened with problems from any part of her duty. This Proverbs 31 Lady of Grace is a very competent woman on many levels. Most Woman in the 21st century does not spin cloth to make clothes. However, she can buy the finished product with superior construction and appearance for comparatively nothing. She is better off learning other skills and using her earnings to buy clothing and other textile products. But when the situation calls for it, she can “do it from scratch,” whether in the closet or the kitchen. When she needs to, she can make cakes fit for the LORD and savory dishes that would make a chef jealous. All with the hands that she has dedicated to the LORD for His Glory!

Proverbs 31:20 (AMPC)
“She opens her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her filled hands to the needy [whether in body, mind, or spirit].”
Romans 12:6a & 8b
“Having then gifts differing according to the Grace that is given to us, let us use them: … he who gives, with liberality…”
Imagine a busy woman running a household, rushing to work, making business decisions, juggling meal planning, and shopping, and volunteering her time for worthwhile causes, such as for her Church or community, while radiating cheer to her Children and charm to her Husband. Sounds like today's Supermom, doesn't it? Such is THE PROVERBS 31 WOMAN! It is not just for King Solomon’s Mother, but it is relevant for today’s Virtuous Lady of Grace.
You see, this Virtuous Wife, mother, and pillar of the community was described nearly 3,000 years ago in the Bible. Women have been struggling with priorities and time management for millennia. The advice in the 31st chapter of the book of Proverbs, which talks about this Supermom of old, is just as relevant today as it was then, because wisdom from God is timeless. Giving to the needy is a non-stop work of a Good Samaritan. Whether it is someone who lacks a physical need, emotional need, or a Spiritual need, the Virtuous Woman will be there with open hands and an open heart ready to Minister to the need.
To find real help to be competent in her home, community and business, the Virtuous Woman looks for help in the Word of God, which shows her how to use her arms and hands to bring God Glory! Home and Family have always been the foundation of civilization. Solid, successful, loving Families build stable neighborhoods, towns, and cities that in turn form strong nations. A strong nation is formed by people of strong Character. Not just men, but women as well. Especially those of the Christian Faith who are doing the will of God to please Him.

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:21 (NKJV)
“She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet.”
Job 38:22
“Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail.”
This verse in Proverbs 31 describes a woman who is motivated, industrious, and confident in the face of challenges. Winter can be harsh for many people who lives where there is snow, but the Virtuous Woman will not be concerned for them, because she keeps their winter clothes mended and ready to wear. She has provided enough, not only for their necessity, and defense against the cold and other inconveniences, but also for their delight. Barnes' Notes on the Bible describes the word: “Scarlet” – “Probably some well-known articles of dress, noticeable for their color, or, as some think, for their double texture and warmth.”
She has firmness of Faith to bear up under hardships and disappointments. She is a great Blessing to her Family and in her firm stance, God is well pleased. She is not afraid when her household may face the rigors of a cold season, when it is frost or with snow on the ground. For, she will make sure that they are well dressed so that they may discover the wonders of the snow and have fun playing in it.
The prepared Proverbs 31 Woman is not afraid of the snow, because she knows who has made it and knows that it falls from above and knows how to enjoy its treasure, but also to be aware of the dangers of not being prepared for it.
So, Ladies, get ready to enjoy the treasures of the snow with your Family.

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:22
“She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.”
Titus 2:4-5 (AMP)
“So that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their Husbands and their Children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own Husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.”
The Proverbs 31 modern Woman is known as the Kings Daughter! She furnishes her house well and has good clothing for herself and her Family. She makes or buys herself coverings of tapestry to decorate her home. Her own clothing is rich and fine looking, its silk and purple represents that she is a royal Daughter of Heaven, and her clothing shows her place and rank with God. This fine linen and purple suggest a touch of elegance and class, but not excessively so.
Though she is not so vain as to spend much time in dressing herself, nor makes the putting on of apparel her adorning, nor values herself in them, she does however, wear them elegantly. Her clothing is put on well. Her Husband is dressed in his best because she makes sure that he looks good in public. She also gets good warm and stylish clothing for her Children.
After taking special care of her Family and household she does not get lazy with her own appearance, but appears well put together and lovely. If she were selfish, she would not be beautiful. Although she puts her needs last, she does not go around looking frumpish.
Ladies, the Virtuous Woman is of the utmost character because of who she represents as being the Daughter of the King. Her character shines the Love of Christ and shows the world that she is not afraid to be known as such!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:23 (NKJV)
“Her Husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.”
Proverbs 19:14 (NKJV)
“Houses and riches are an inheritance from Fathers, but a Prudent Wife is from the LORD.”
The Proverbs 31 Woman takes great care of Husband, for he is known in the gates; known to have a good Wife. By his wise counsels, and prudent management of affairs on his job, it appears that he has a discreet companion at home. It is obvious by his lifestyle with which he improves his standing in public. The Virtuous Woman is not a gossiper to spread what she hears in confidence from her Husband, and others know it.
By his cheerful countenance and pleasant humor, you can tell that he has an agreeable Wife at home; for many that do not have an agreeable Wife, have their tempers strangely soured by the woman who is not. By his appearing clean and neat in the way that he dresses, and everything about him is decent and handsome, yet not gaudy, others may know he has a good Wife at home, that takes care of his appearance.
Instead of being a hindrance to her Husband’s advancement, she furthers it. Her influence for good extends to him to bring him honor in the gates of the city where he works or abides. Having no domestic anxieties, he is set free to do his part in public life.
Ladies, shine for Christ and make your Husband look GOOD in public!!

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:24
“She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.”
1 Thessalonians 5:12 (AMP)
“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to appreciate those who diligently work among you [recognize, acknowledge, and respect your leaders], who are in charge over you in the LORD and who give you instruction.”
The Proverbs 31 Woman is a good homemaker. We are told she looks well to the ways of her household. This does not mean she did everything herself! She looks well to the ways of her household. She has help. She is not a slave to her Family or home. She is a good manager of her home. She organizes her household in a way that helps things run smoothly so that there is no chaos in the home.
A Great Woman who lives Virtuously is ingenious and industrious. She is intelligent and diligent. She sees business opportunities and leverage them for the benefit of the family estate. She fulfills her domestic duties to Husband and Children first, but she has a mind and drive to do more.
A Virtuous Woman – the great woman every wise man desires to marry – is an enterprising woman. She is not content with merely being a limited housewife. She knows she is capable of more, so she does more. The example here is a manufacturing and wholesale business in fine linen and sashes. This woman has an entrepreneurial and ambitious spirit that seeks profitable projects to support her Husband and build the Family income.
The Virtuous Woman is preeminently a diligent woman – extremely hard working for her Husband and Children. Fearing the LORD, this woman applies herself to being a diligent woman of God. While she does not waste away her time, she does take time for keeping in touch with Friends and loved ones, and she may even host a tea party to Minister to other Ladies who need to hear the Word. She makes time for her Children’s interest, such as soccer/football/baseball (etc.) practices and ballgames, school events, and getting to know the other kids that her Children hangs out with to make sure that they are of a good influence.
These virtues are the fruit of a Virtuous Woman’s heart showing how she loves her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, not actions that determines her worth.

Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:25 (AMP)
“Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure;
And she smiles at the future [knowing that she and her family are prepared].”
Proverbs 11:16
“A gracious woman retaineth honour: …”
As we look at the excellence of the Virtuous Wife, we now turn to the inner qualities in her life. These are discussed in verses 25-28 and once again represent a Godly Woman who takes her role seriously before God, before her Family, and before the outside world around her. In verse 25 three things characterize the inner qualities of this Godly Wife.
First, she is a woman of strength. For Strength and Dignity are her clothing. She is clothed with strength, which is the power over the changes of temporal circumstances, which easily destroy and ruin a household resting on less solid foundations. Hers is an inner strength derived from a relationship with God - and from the Scriptures, which guide those who know Him. Just as she would clothe herself daily with outward dress - she also turns each day to God for the inner strength she will need to face the world.
Secondly, we see that the Virtuous Woman faces these things with "Dignity." The word here is "glory", “honor”, or “esteem” which here points to a mindset that thinks above that which is low, little, or common. She does not look to life as just getting by or living for the things of this world. She thinks higher than that. She is clothed with a mind and a heart that reaches higher - that desires a life that glorifies God. She is both dignified - and lives with a dignity that has others looking up to her.
Because of these two things the third thing is easily done. The Godly, Virtuous Wife smiles at the future. She knows how to take things with a touch of humor when it gets tough, because she knows that God has a great future for her and her Family. That is something that is much needed today. Too many looks at the future and grit their teeth as they await the devastation they figure is coming. The Proverbs 31 Woman faces all things with dignity and God's strength seeking God's Glory - and as a result smiles that although much may be wrong in the world - she sees things in light of Faith which causes her to grow closer to God and bring Glory to Him.
So, Ladies the inner strength, character (dignity), and the outlook of the Excellent Wife sets her apart from other women.

Proverbs 31:26 (AMPC)
“She opens her mouth in skillful and godly Wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness [giving counsel and instruction].”
Galatians 6:2 (AMP)
“Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love].”
When the Proverbs 31 Woman opens her mouth, she expresses herself in a discreet and prudent manner; as well as not speaking foolishness and petty talk, but she speaks of moments of importance, and of usefulness to others: in other words, she speaks "things of wisdom". She is full of grace and mercy; speaking wisdom, which is the law of Christ; speaking kindly and tenderly to everyone, exhorting to acts of Mercy and Kindness, and doing them herself: or you could say that "the Doctrine of Grace is in her tongue."
The Virtuous Woman by Her wisdom and kindness together put a commanding power into all she says, her words command respect, they command compliance without being forceful about it. How forcible are right words! It is the Doctrine of the Grace and Love of God the Father holds towards His Children and even the whole world. Divine Words brings a crippled world into agreement with God’s plan for their restoration. Therefore, the Virtuous Woman who allows kindness and Grace to rule her heart will be an example of God’s Love to and for them.
One thing that stood out to me about the Proverbs 31 Woman was when she opens her mouth, she spoke with wisdom. As a Christian Woman who desires to speak words of wisdom, I think of the kinds of words that would come out of her mouth. I believe she would be careful in choosing her words. They would be words that are in line with God’s Word and useful for others to hear. To her Children, her words would build up, encourage, and correct. They would speak of God’s goodness, His gift of Salvation through Christ and be words that speak Grace to their souls. To her Husband they would be words of affirmation of the position that he carries as the Head of the Family under Christ! Her attitude will show that she respects him and the duties that he has as the Family Leader. Wise words that builds him up instead of wise cracks that tear him down.

Proverbs 31:27
“She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.”
Ephesians 5:15-16 (AMPC)
“Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.”
The Virtuous Woman is conscious of her Family at all times. She does not overlook any of their needs. She sees what would help and gets it for them. She does not allow idleness to keep her from doing what needs to be done for her Family. She is very diligent and hardworking. Not allowing the things that should be done to go without attention.
A Wise Woman is circumspect and redeems her time. For she knows that in these last days, evil abounds around her Loved ones. Therefore, she will do what she can to give them what they need to live a life of comfort and goodness. She inspects her Family from all angles. She does not take a superficial glance and miss details. She does not need to be told what is needed, because she has identified it herself. She buys back time by not wasting any and working as efficiently and energetically as possible.
A Virtuous Woman is a prudent planner. Life never takes her by surprise. She is prepared for any needs that might arise. She thinks ahead prudently for what will be needed in the future and begins preparation before there is a crisis. She organizes and saves necessary and useful things to help the Family in time when there is a need.
